And here we have the first collaborator Greek- this one’s a translator (among other things) for the nazis. These were hated by every other Greek, be they resistance, non-combatants, of any political persuasion, young or old, women or men.
Tasos’ (the mangled guy) threat proved to be very very real, and those collaborators that had been identified as such met a very ghastly end, delivered by both resistance AND non-combatant civilians (especially if they were black marketers or ‘masks’- we’ll see those later on), with the withdrawal of the nazi occupation forces during the months of 1944-45.
